That's true for sure, but comparing maybe 30 games to the hundreds and hundreds that were around in the previous two generations, it feels like it were essentially none released.

That seems like the best explanation. Twitch gaming.
It's kind of insane how we went from having almost a limitless supply of JRPGs during the PS1 - PS2 era, and then it almost completely stopped with the following console generation. I wonder if it's just too expensive to create games like that these days, and companies opt for the 6-8 hour game play-genres as opposed…

True, Harry Potter for instance ;)
So very true. And the reason The Hobbit movies are able to be so long is because they bring in a lot of other events that are not in the actual book, but in other books, that transpire at the same time. Either way, LOTR are horrible to read, lol.
That's true. I've seen some interviews with GRRM where he says that the show, while it follows the main story line, has a lot of things that aren't in the books, and vice versa. However, not sure about the series ending before the books because my understanding is that GRRM has kind of got a fire under his ass for…
I actually did read The Hobbit and I enjoyed it a whole lot more than the main series (I got through 1.5 of the main books before I stopped).
This is why I very rarely read books that have also come out as a TV-show or movie. Take LOTR for instance, I love the story and the characters, but I could not make myself read those boring books where everything is described in such detail that I just go 'I don't f-ing care what each leaf on each tree in the forest…
Their approach should be:
But that large? Really?
This really makes me wonder what is inside the X1 in order for it to be so damn big in comparison to the Ps4? It can't be that extra HDMI in... and other than that they're essentially identical spec-wise. Weirdu.
Dat mullet tho.
I did miss the pre-alpha in the corner actually, but I did say I knew it has long ways to go. Just not overly impressed at what I'm looking at right now, that's all. It'll probably change as the game progresses in development though.
I like the art style and I know it's not near completion, but I immediately noticed some things that shouldn't be happening on next-gen consoles. For instance, a group of people are walking in a line - using the exact same body movement, making them look just like copy-paste NPCs. Second, when running through foliage…
Why is this comment still here?
If you see any difference it is probably manufactured by any preconceived notions you already had about which console is better in your opinion. There is literally no difference (except one is slightly brighter than the other, which you can probably fix by going into your settings, or even adjust on your TV manually…
It all makes sense now!
Exactly my thought too, it looks super annoying...
