The book is a profile of id Software, and particular the two Johns who founded the company, John Carmack and John Romero, and in particular has a great post mortem on the development of Daikatana and why things went so wrong with that game.

I'll say this doesn't apply for all songs yet. I've got a Halo 4 LP where the company who licensed the game's soundtrack for Europe put a claim on the video, and I can't remove that audio yet.

Actually, I kind of like the spherical explosion image more. It fits nicely with the semi-apocalyptic way I've noticed Japanese science fiction looks at the future.

Depressing and anti-war, but in a fashion that doesn't make you want to slit your wrists in the theater, because it's a successful story of survival.
