@pdditty: but it's not that huge giz is trying to make it that way. I have 14 co-workers that have the iphone 4. I saw bout 6 of them at lunch 30 minutes ago and asked them about the problems that giz is reporting on. None of them could replicate it or mentioned anything wrong. I'll check with the other 8, but seems

wow, really giz? if only I could get the same return policy with my time coming to gizmodo.com only to see 10 hate articles on the iphone, and no real reporting on other gadgets. Most of the problems you have highlighted affect a small % of users of iphones. Apple has gladly switched phones for those that had these

I have had an iphone 2g and 3g never bought a case for either, and never cracked the screen ever! Hell I brought the 2g in for maintenaince once because volume button broke . They gave me a totally new phone for free even though i had no warranty just because and i quote "wow this is the best kept and condition phone

Well if you still want the sexual goodness of the iphone 4 but have the stamina of the male gizmodo staff, then the evo is the right choice :x

@webdevmike: You say that as if your battery would have lasted long enough to take a meaningful glimpse or sliver of said turd.

@Incoherent: Well if you're doing that in an airport use their wifi? I use facebook a lot trust me ive barely been able to get over 250mb/m. It really doesnt use a lot. Facetime it def will but that's then this is now.

@seven5suited: this would be actually something they would look at, and possibly exclude.

@reuthermonkey: True, it hasn't hurt windows because Windows does not update to a whole new version every six months or even a year. It takes few years for a new OS, and then 2-3 years after that for widespread adoption. Point being developers have a longer window to develop with basically the same foundation.

This article is the definition of something "Magical and Revolutionary", and imparts genuine inspiration. This is excellence and innovation. I am m glad I can still recognize this and have not been jaded by consumerism and products.

@nachobel TOTORO!: Exactly, I read that, and thought no way we would give up that level of superiority. We just simply developed something better and faster.

@dappernat: Thanks this was pretty awesome watching.
