I was thinking the same thing. Those don’t even qualify as “weird”.

That isn’t the first Slime controller they’ve made. There was one made for the PS2 (they even made a Metal Slime version). You can find that one pretty cheap on eBay.

I like the keyboard, tbh.  Seems like it would be very useful for a particular niche.

Picked up something like the Fastsnail grips at launch and holy jeez did those make a splash at mario kart! Sure, they aren’t THE BEST, but they were $8 for the pair, hella durable for controller-throwers, and with my having massive hands they’re comfy enough for long plays with friends. Is the Pro Wireless controller

Actually those joy con grips are a GREAT idea.  As an adult with fairly large hands using a single joycon is awful.

Yeah, but context doesn’t make rage bait articles!!

I fail to see the issue.

I am not gonna get caught up in this until the game releases but that quote was limited and the full quote makes a bit more sense

$35 was the “try it” price. And it was $35 for about the past 2 years. There was plenty of time for people to hop in. It has been in early access on multiple platforms a long time.

How is this at all P2W? You are making some massive leaps here that make no sense.

No, I said it was a “scummy practice.” You can do a shit, but I don’t conclude that you’re a person made of shit.

For people who refuse to understand the issue here, ill try to aproach it from another angle

It’s a distinction without a difference when revenue is used to recoup development costs. Money invested in the production of a video game that sells at an unprofitable price point is, yes, money lost. Maybe at a certain volume of sales that type of thing becomes profitable, but it’s obviously going to be harder to

Because it leads to price inflation.

Firstly, we’re not talking about the obscenely priced $70 games from AAA publishers—we’re talking about $20 indie games, and no one is suggesting they can “afford” to have them priced so low. Secondly, it’s scummy for all the reasons I carefully lay out in the article.

I thought they look great. I'm pretty impressed with the visuals.

People mix up “detailed” for realistic a lot.

I’m waiting for Luigi to say “Spaceship!”
