I should probably clarify that I was going for authentic, 616-universe defeats, not What Ifs and alternate realities and stuff. Since I didn't do it in the article.

From the Downton cast, I'd rather see Robert James Collier in a lead heroic role. He seems like a much more interesting actor and given what I've seen of him in real life interviews could make for a pretty great roguish leading man.

I'll have a hard time seeing Jesse Plemons as anyone other than creepy Todd.

When HBO finally takes Deadwood out of its HBO GO prison, people will realize it's one of the greatest series ever produced. Amazingly entertaining and rewatchable. One of the few full-series DVDs I own.
