The 'girls' comment didn't really bother me. I wouldn't expect him to be particularly evolved in his view of gender I guess.

I think the show tries to present Caputo as fairly complex.

Honestly it totally makes sense.

>>>On the one hand, Piscatella is terrifying; on the other hand, he’s also the only one who saw Lolly’s psychotic breakdown and felt like he needed to assist her. While the type of treatment they would have forced on her is questionable, at least he wasn’t just watching her rant crazily, which is all the other new

Yeah Aleida (along with Healy really) is one of those despicable characters who I just can't help but feel absolute abject pity for. Aleida is horrible, and she's in this awful personal prison entirely of her own making. And there's no excuse for her behaviour but I can't but feel sorry for someone who is just THAT

Pretty much. Alex is monumentally more interesting and enjoyable to watch without Piper.

That was something that struck me. Soso is kind of a ditz with a big mouth and always has been: her behaviour is not only in-character, it's entirely expected and honestly it'd be surprising if she HADN'T done something thoughtless and ridiculous of the gate of their relationship, I was surprised when Poussey even got

I like him. Really distinctive, and it was nice to see someone with some authority in the prison who knows what he's doing.

I do kind of love that moment where Caputo explains his reason for hiring Taystee and Piscatella just looks at him like he's the biggest moron on the planet.

Okay, I'm super out of touch (especially was then) so I have no idea. :P Still, the series can seem a bit strange in that regard.

Larry was hated more for being insufferably pathetic than he was for being some awful human being. (Though he still kinda was)

I get so mad at Caputo. I think season 2 made a concerted effort to make him into a more redeemable kind of male lead for the show. (Considering the fact that MOST of the men in this show are either rutting pigs, perverts, lazy, or losers, or all of the above).

I miss all the prison guards. =(

>>>So let’s discuss: given when Brook would have been arrested, would hashtags have been enough of a thing that she would have thought #TheOtherOnePercent would be a good one? What year is this supposed to be? What year was Season 2? Gloria obviously wouldn’t know what Kickstarter was, having been in longer, but I’m

Whoever's doing the marketing for this (particularly the song choices) really needs a good kick in the butt.

I think we have a winner.

But like I said, she wasn't punished for what Jimmy did. She was punished for what she didn't tell Howard. Right or wrong, she was punished for her own (in)actions.

She never told Howard that, though. And from Howard's perspective she absolutely had an obligation to inform him what Jimmy was up to in relation to an HHM case.

She wasn't punished for Jimmy's misdeeds, though. She was punished because she didn't disclose the commercial to them.

I don't think Stacy is genuinely trying to scam Mike out of money.
