XP is the single most overrated operating system of all time. 7 is great, and since I like to play a lot of older games, I am unwilling to side-grade to a less intuitive operating system that’s allowed to delete your files without your permission that might not let my old games work properly.

That makes no sense. They’re completely different situations. There are plenty of valid reasons not to “upgrade” to Windows 10. There are pretty much no valid reasons not to wear a seatbelt or brush your teeth. You’re comparing apples to giraffes.

None of those workaround work on Windows 10. Pretty much all of them work on Windows 7.

You actually can’t even get some games to run properly on Windows 10. I’m staying the hell away as long as possible.
