The problem is, they’re chasing history, so they can’t really rest. Remember, the ‘96 Bulls were playing in an expansion year. The Warriors don’t have that luxury.

Also, don’t give me some bullshit about rule changes: the hand check rules came into effect in ‘94, and do you really think that neither group would adjust

That repetition of “the best fans in baseball” reminds me both of car dealerships and communist dictatorships, in that order.

My dad’s position has always been “if he moves toward the plate, then throws you out, he tricked you. You lost. The end.”

Tell that to the Indians

Either that or.. you know.. they have a coach that runs a solid D-line and a quarterback who can turn it on in the playoffs, which happens to be the key to winning in the post season, but nobody gives him proper credit for it.

Okay, so a leadoff hitter most likely has the 7th, 8th, and 9th hitters ahead of him. Those hitters are much less likely to get on base than the 1st or 2nd hitters. The leadoff hitter has a smaller chance of driving in runs than the 3rd or 4th hitter because fewer people will be on base. It’s not exactly fucking

I always found it funny how the SF Giants were the NY Giants of the MLB: never the best team when they won, but somehow lucky enough to string together multiple championships in a short period of time.

If “sports” is your major, it has, by far, the worst job placement record of any major. It’s not worth funding such an unsuccessful field with money that could go to better equipment for literally any other major (you can buy some pretty goddamn nice science equipment for $20 million). We don’t hold any of those things against him. We’re holding him being an arrogant asshole who has no ability to recognize that saying you did it all yourself and came from nothing is fucking retarded.

I didn’t like Eve personally, but I fucking love the storylines it creates.

I think Portal 2 has this problem pretty consistently- if you alt tab it crashes the program.

If not for dsfix, the world would be very sad

As a person who works in QA, I support the investment in QA

I played one Baldur’s gate. I can’t remember which one, though. It was at my neighbor’s house, and I remember the final sequence being a long climb up a big tower, and we wanted to sell all our excess gear right before the final boss battle, but found we couldn’t. Then we beat the game anyway. Does anyone know which

That was one advantage of going to a D3 school: none of our players were remotely famous, so they didn’t get any special treatment in terms of campus crimes.

Basic idea: let teams benefit from their likenesses (ex: jersey sales, video game representation). Have flat compensation from the school. Extra money they earn is extra money earned outside the school system. Star players get more while nobody gets nothing.

Your job exists to promote the company: it isn’t a for-profit.

You have a reasonable expectation of privacy in someone’s sealed hotel room, that’s why the video shouldn’t have been released.

You don’t own anything you purchase on Steam, unlike, for example, even fucking Amazon
