I love V8 Supercars more than life itself, but this easily stole the show. That “Jordan Cox” pseudonym isn’t fooling anyone though...
Such simple styling, but such massive presence.
Wait, so it wasn’t Putin after all?
As a bit of a Saab aficionado myself, I think I remember watching the auction for this very car. Such a shame how it never quite made full-scale production, but I loved reading this story about how this one got to where it deserved to be - the road. Great stuff.
Ah, thanks. Makes for such a stunning looking car.
Isn’t that the bodykit Mansory designed? I always thought that was their best work by miles, in that it wasn’t beyond offensive and actually improved the car for once.
Dude knew how to turn on the style on the track, too. He obviously meant to do this.
I’ve got plenty of fond memories of FinalGear! Great community. Joined when I’d just started driving way back in ‘07, designed one of the shirts for their shop, and even got to visit a live TG recording thanks to the generosity of a fellow member.
Poor Felipe. My heart broke when I saw he’d binned it, but seeing those pit crews come out to cheer him back was the closest thing I’ve seen to Cool Runnings in F1!
I love this site and like to think I always will, but please start taking your own advice.
That logo really is glorious. We just need Power Glove for the soundtrack.
Captain Marvel?
Not a surprise, here’s Liam in 2013 introducing himself to Toomas Heikkinen.
I put an absurd amount of hours into this game at the time. I loved how it was one of the very few games that nailed the feeling of being a villain in an OTT heightened reality universe, yet one with a cool ensemble of allies who you really cared about. The story was so simple but it worked.
I’ve always really liked these cars, but thankfully I’m not quite on the level where I’d buy a rigged-up car bomb full of literal shit to call myself a 3000GT owner.
You think Brexit is bad, we get it. Please just get back to rolling Beetles or something.
Great job, Rossi! He’d shown such promise in the Caterham and Racing Engineering GP2 cars, but didn’t get his change to shine in last year’s F1. Now he’s finally shown what he can do. My heart was thundering on the last lap!
