Excellent pic, funny as hell, and Joan Greenwood was to die for. The screenwriter, Roger MacDougall, spoke at one of my graduate writing glasses at UCLA, and was as dry and amusing as his script. He was far more interested in the economic consequences of his fictional invention than in the sf aspects of it, however.
