This is true. It was only Jon, Davos, Missandei and some Dothraki guards who were at Dragonstone when Theon arrived… and we have no idea as to the time-span between Jon's "You'll be no different" speech and Theon's arrival. Could've been weeks (and since the Lannister army had time enough to transport all of the gold

They knew we'd expect Arya to disappear before any reunion… so I was genuinely surprised that she didn't… Dunno if it was just my download (not the leaked version), but I couldn't see sod all during the crypt scene and the cave scene.

I think everyone was busy with the charging Dothraki hordes… besides, we don't know how many people were trained to use it properly… I very much doubt the entire infantry had air-defence training.

It seems weird contemplating Arya vs the White Walkers… she's been out of that storyline for so long I still forget that this could be a reality.

I very much expect Littlefinger to try to murder Bran in the next episode or two… personally, I think it might be worthwhile – narratively speaking – to make it a successful attempt, since having an omniscient character around is kind of a bad idea.

I did love Bronn's line to Jamie about "You expect the reign of Queen Cersei to be quiet and peaceful?" … followed by Jamie's continuing realisation that his sister-lover is the bad guy…. great moment.

Arya: "You?"

A hero is somebody who gets other people killed … you can look that up later.

The newbie review this week was just a plot summary… you won't get much 'added value' out of that protest switch.

Leaders used to consider it a necessity to be well-informed on the issues and people they were dealing with…

Rickon's execution during BoB was probably a huge newsworthy event. Since Rickon and Bran were supposedly killed together, if one turned up alive, chances are that the other one is still alive too.

The actress who plays Ellaria has said she's finished on the show now (at least for this season).

I assume she meant the area around Winterfell too, where the other armies are camped at the moment.

I got the impression that the Ironborn were drastically outnumbered by Euron's fleet, and the Unsullied, in turn, drastically outnumber Euron.

True, but would you rather fight an army at full strength at sea, or fight them after they've been stranded for weeks, forced to walk across unfamiliar territory and suffering starvation and malnutrition?

There are some people positing that he said 'it's complicated' because Bran and Raven von Sydow are one and the same person. That the Raven transfers his consciousness to his successor at death and then at the end of time, the final Raven transfers all of the knowledge back in time to the very first Raven.

He doesn't really 'need' to though. Sure, it'd be disappointing if you've read all of the books and the series ends up never being finished in that format, but it's not like Martin's contractually obliged to finish them for you.

It's a bit late in the day to have your main character start struggling with serious internal character issues… I feel like the show mostly just used it as a technicality for Jon to be able to leave Castle Black without being executed (again).

Sansa wasn't super close with any of her siblings if I recall correctly… she was the bratty girly-girl while every one else was running around in the mud and fighting.

Actors want to move on with their lives. And with this show, you can't risk losing a leading actor without destroying the entire narrative. Most of them are on year-to-year contracts now, so it's just not reasonable to keep it going for much longer.
