It probably would have worked better if Ares had been Ludendorf and the final act was something else, like Diana rejoining the team to stop the chemical attack… although I did like Steve's sacrifice.

Some of the action was decent, but far too much of it was person-on-wires-in-front-of-green-screen type action… and slow-motion doesn't really improve that. I think that were this the first entry in its own continuity, it would have been far better. But, alas, it seemed to be slightly hobbled visually by the house…

You are wrong!' and firing off a coloured lightning bolt at another character who replies with 'No! It is you who is wrong!' and countering with a different coloured lightning…
