That's literally the point of the entire series…
That's literally the point of the entire series…
They just recreated what Martin wrote. If you think the world is unimaginative, then the blame for that lies squarely at his feet.
I would agree, but then there's the existence of Better Call Saul…
Truncated? The story's coming to an end. Anything else would just be padding.
The random landmine death though… ugh, just seemed cheap.
Yeah. Dead man's switch = someone suicidal. Securing him after the fight should have been Oliver's first action… hell, no one even clarified that he didn't have a manual override button for the detonator.
If only any of them knew the fastest man alive, or anyone with the ability to time-travel…
Dammit! He's always ten steps ahead!
I'm pretty sure that an international serial killer such as Green Arrow would come under FBI jurisdiction, so a pardon would be moot.
Maybe every one of them will end up in a wheelchair for 2 episodes!
Sure was nice of everyone to make sure they were having gender-matched and thematically resonant fight pair-ups…
I dunno. I've been drifting in and out since the middle of season 4, and I came back for the finale and it was okay, but certainly nothing stupendous. I got that reference :-D
It rarely is… especially when some US states have exactly the same rules concerning gay people on their books that Russia recently enacted.
At least Republicans have finally given up all pretence of being a moral or 'Christian' party… Their leader is - at best - an adulterer, braggart, liar, cheat, sexual assaulter and a godless fornicator… and I'm sure you'd struggle to find many others in the ranks who haven't broken a commandment or ten.
Plus, Slade's psychosis seemed to have been entirely caused by the mirakuru, so that's a case for diminished responsibility right there.
I wasn't fond of how Lost ended either, but they at least had that philosophy of not introducing a mystery until they also had at least one explanation for it. Sure, sometimes a writer would come up with a better explanation down the line and they'd course correct to the new one, but that's far better than 'because…
Anyone else really miss the White House getting blown up by said beam of light?
It worked for the Power Rangers… and we're about on the same level of narrative sophistication this season.
Please! He'll be out in ten minutes.
