The weirdest part is Joe constantly trying to play pimp and get them together.

But did someone tell him to run faster?

What do you expect from the kid whose first move as a superhero was to establish his own Guantanamo which even imprisoned people with the power of 'sci-fi gun'.

I get the impression that it was all nixed to prevent continuity problems between the 4 shows. Thing is, it'd be easy enough to explain that Flash now takes place in an alternate universe a la Supergirl and then just bring it all back for the 4-way.

The Middleman already did that joke.

That's probably why Oliver and Sara worked so well in their brief time together. They just fought crime together and had sex, no relationship drama, no seasonal arcs, no cutesy scenes designed to show how perfect they are together. In short, good.

Everyone's better than Zoom…

Come for the obscure meta-references that only 5 people get; Stay for the utter stupidity in plotting.

Barry rejecting this universe reminds me of that episode of Sliders where they bail on their home-world because the gate doesn't squeak.

Didn't Eobard kill Barry's mother to cause him pain because of some future slight? Why would he do it when it's what Barry wants? And is Barry aware that he's now hired a hitman and as such has committed a felony?

Season 1 was okay to good writing. But I just can't look past flaws that prominent, hence why I'm just following Flash/Arrow on the reviews here now.

Maybe that's the mistake writers make, always giving new couples 'storylines' when they've just put them together. Why not just have them continue to do what they do and maybe not focus on the relationship.

AoS might be underwatched, but it's definitely not crappy.

Not necessarily her fault. Most actors do dozens of takes of pivotal scenes and might be following specific direction from the director, or an odd choice of take might be made in editing.

Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but seeing that Scott 'Dexter Destroyer' Buck is the showrunner on Iron Fist has just completely killed my anticipation for that one.

DDs2 had a really strong opening, but the second half was pretty awful. JJ is far and away the best, despite a little bit of slack in the pacing of the season's 2nd act. I think I'd probably place this 3rd (JJ, DDs1, LC, DDs2).

Let's hope Murdoch never gets a trial that lasts longer than a day or two, cause then he'd be screwed.

Yeah, Foggy's definitely the better lawyer at this point.

It's one of the worst myths that the police and TV propagate, that only guilty people have lawyers. The occasional cop might care about the truth, but most just want to close the case.

Yeah, can you imagine if you actually turned in that abstract, goopy nonsense to a real newspaper editor? That crap felt like it belonged to S1 Iris West on The Flash.
