Wasn't there a law in the 2nd film about certain weapons being restricted still?

There was that line early in the film where an onlooker describes how it's become fused with Halloween (maybe it even takes place on Oct 31st).
So your argument is that everyone would use purge night to file their tax return?
I would laugh if it weren't so tragically true (at least in some people's minds)…
Plus, they only have to look at the likes of BrBa and GoT… especially the former, who started off extremely average (in ratings) and blew up into a phenomenon.
I very much doubt it now it's an Emmy-winning series. I mean, has USA ever won an Emmy before?
It is getting kind of ridiculous. I thought the whole point of cable in the US was that it wasn't under the thrall of the PTC's moral crusade?
Yeah, at this point, we just need Elliott to stop fighting and just move forward with the plan already.
In my experience, you don't laugh in the face of a grieving man and tell him you're glad his whore of a wife and his unborn baby are dead and not expect some kind of reaction… This was 99.9% guaranteed to be her plan from the second she knocked on his door.
I think Angela's the easiest to understand. All she wants is to destroy E-Corp. First she tried to do it within the bounds of the law, which was gonna be a drop in the ocean. Then she tried to do it from the belly of the beast, but she found herself sidelined and still unable to change anything. Now she's having a go…
Any chance of a Blu-Ray release Fox? It's extremely depressing seeing the dreck that gets a gold-standard release and then films like this are wilfully ignored.
I think it was just a visual metaphor for a cultural change. There was no implication that these kids in the intro were stupid because of genetics, but it was because of the environment they were raised in.
I think it's a mistake to make Gretchen so deathly afraid of emotions to the point of absurdity. At this point, they're steering her into Bones- or TBBT's Sheldon-esque territory.
Might explain companies like Comcast's desire to cripple the internet through underinvestment, poor speeds, data caps and destroying net neutrality… it's good for their cable business.
This is one of those instances where you really could use a monopoly – at least for internet streaming – so Netflix only has to compete against cable and broadcast (which have different licensing deals).
Quite a few Netflix shows are already onto their third or fourth season… many of them longer than network TV too. This criticism doesn't really make any sense… how can they amass a catalogue spanning many years if they follow your advice and stop making original content?
I thought it had to be UN approval? Wasn't that the reason that no one wanted to fess up that SHIELD had Inhumans on their roster? It basically sounds like the nuclear non-proliferation treaty, only for mutants.
I wonder how long Coulson and co. were gone for…?
Ward was awesome once he did his heel turn. I really miss that Iago-esque character being in the mix too… but it looks like Hannah might be lining up to play that role in this season.
I can't help but wonder if it's not a coincidence that GR turned up in the same episode as the box with some spirit thing in which possesses people to do bad things…
