First, you are assuming that all the Vulcans are on the side of the rebels just because some were. Secondly, you might want to rewatch Mirror, Mirror to remind yourself of Mirror Spock’s reasoning for being an Imperial officer. Thirdly, you might want to think about what the Mirror Universe actually is, because a

The Mirror Universe has a vastly different history than the Federation yet when people go to visit it, its a fantasy like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.

Spock in the mirror universe wasn’t particularly evil when compared to the rest of the crew of the Enterprise.

You actually have to pay attention to the episode and think about who was the driver of the plot and the only person who actually knew (other than Mudd) what was going on. If you do that, you’ll understand why Mudd got the ending he did.

The Mirror Universe exists as kind of an ID to Star Trek’s general Ego/Super Ego, so its understandable that it would be a sexed up version. IMHO, its not a real place, but a ‘reality’ where the patterns of people go to and come from when certain ‘transporter accidents’ occur.

Netflix viewers are in command here. It doesn’t matter so much how successful the show is on CBSAA (although it has reportedly been hugely successful relatively) if Netflix is willing to bankroll it.

What stopped Captain Burnham from ordering whoever was on sensors to have a coffee break for about 5 minutes right then?

The Mirror Universe isn’t really an actual real universe. It’s best thought of something that minds interact with within whatever continuum exists within the Transporters matter stream, which seems real when people are trapped in there for a significant amount of time during certain ‘transporter accidents’. The Spore

Burnam’s the captain of an Imperial Star Ship. She turn on an off the sensors whenever she wants and no one will question her actions or maybe end up getting the same treatment as Tyler.

Nothing you have offered is anything less than a fanwanking feverdream that could only come from someone who has never watched the show.

Um... you clearly haven’t watched the show. It is a serially told series, not an episodic one. This is going to take the rest of the season to resolve, and taking control of the mirror-Shenzou is just the first part of getting the info the characters need to find.

Why are people still fanficking over Lorca being from the Mirror Universe? They’ve made it pretty clear that he’s not from the Mirror universe.

If you’re going to hire people to review this show, it might be helpful if they’ve actually watched Star Trek at some point, or at least can be bothered to do a modicum of internet research before they write their article.

I’m not creating anything. I’m analyzing something. MacFarlane created it and put it out into the world. Just because you refuse to see anything more than you want to, doesn’t mean its not there, it just means you don’t want to see it, which is your problem, and suggest there’s a whole lot going on around you that you

And you are so obsessed with there be no allowable critique of the episode writer’s expressed ideology as presented in his writing. Makes me wonder why you think MacFarlane needs so much protection regarding what he has to say about what’s going on in the world. He greenlit the episode, personal and sociological warts

No, its saying that sexual harrassment is just harmless fun and should be treated as such. Just as in a later episode, roofying people for the purposes of non-consensual sex is also harmless fun and should be treated as such. This is this show’s morality.

People write stories for reason. They populate the plots for reasons. They chose behavior and consequences for reasons that have to do with what the story is about. Assuming that a story is just filled with random interactions is ridiculous. Everything I have said is supported by the story as broadcast. I’m not making

Don’t for get that Hulu has Queen of Shadows in the running as well. In generally, however, these days, Amazon, Netflix and Hulu’s in house genre stuff tends to be pretty high quality. Suggesting that it will all be crap kinda ignores the impressive and cinematic level of work the Streaming services are producing.

I watch Chicago Med. Its a decent doctor show in the ER genre.

I09 and many seem to have selective amnesia about mother! It wasn’t the reviewers who hated mother! They liked it. It was the audiences. They hated it and gave it an F Cinemascore.
