It was all downhill for several years. there were some exceptions, but took really till the late 80s for fuel injection and computer controls to really start turning the hp numbers back up

The silverado hybrid really did not make big sales. have not seen one on the road in a long time. i can see maybe a mild hybrid setup like GM had on the first gen silverado hybrid and malibu. but a full hybrid, not so sure, mainly due to cost.
