Power Seatbelts
Hazzard lamps override turn signals. Many times you think someone with hazzard lamps means they are going to allow you the right of way, no they just shifted 3 lanes and you could not tell because they signaled but you couldnt tell. or in a snow storm some idiot thinks its a good idea to keep them on because you cant…
i doubt they still used wax pellots in 2004, but its Mitsubishi, so i would not be surprised. it was a primitive system even in the late 80s. mostly replaced by electrically controlled valves. that also failed
this drives me nuts. how much more money is it to add a stupid dipstick. car companies like to make claims how long their cars on the road, how about help the owner maintain it to keep it on the road.
driver flaw exactly. the samurai was not designed to speed past road cones. it was meant for slow rough roads in the third world.
i figured the wheel holds it on just fine. but its always little things that make huge difference sometimes. must be there just for the assembly line. cars without them, had washer clips things put on the lug to hold the rotor on. break them off to replace the rotor, this must be what they do now in thats place
GM Wbody intermediate steering shafts. I had several Wbody cars and loved them as cheap daily drivers. One annoying thing was the steering shaft. tolerances were not great on the part that extends. once it loses lubricant it would start to chatter on turns. GM came out with a fix kit that was a rubber plug and syringe…
my 1989 Geo tracker has a problem in the throttle body. the wax pellot controls the start up idle. problem is 25yrs later the wax wore out and starting cold revs up to 3500rpm for a long time before it idles down to the point its safe to drive. In freezing temps it takes forever. i ended up plugging the passage so…
my 1989 Geo tracker has a similar problem in the throttle body. the wax pellot controls the start up idle. problem is 25yrs later the wax wore out and starting cold revs up to 3500rpm for a long time before it idles down to the point its safe to drive
i actually broke one last night. is it ok to leave them off? this is the first car i ever had that had those screws
Toyota Camry and Corolla. After years of hearing the praise of these cars, when i finally drove them i was not impressed. The fit and finish was great but found the interior dull and boring and the seats too flat. the suspension was soft like a 90s buick, and the steering was over assisted like a 60s buick. aside from…
2003-2008 Nissan Maxima to me was another disappointment. Perhaps the most uncomfortable seats i ever sat in. its like mid back the seat angles further backwards to allow for a laying down sitting position. i could not find a comfortable position.
agree about the Nissan Z. when i drove one it was tight and cramped and the side mirrors were about useless. interior did not impress me at all when i saw the sticker price, i turned away imediately
Just about all the vehicles on walking dead. its been 3 years since things happened. how is the gasoline still good? my parents have a car overseas they use 6 weeks of the year at their summer home. it limps to the gas station running on the fuel left over from the prior summer. i cant imagine it starting on 3 year…
i have learned this many times over, someone elses project car is only understood by the owner. they will actually ignore certain things and take them as normal after driving for a while. ignoring poor shifts, adding more coolant before a trip, pumping things a little more, hold the switch in while flipping it so it…
i cant find any articles on the web about this incident. any news?
