extra cost. manufacturer already installed a regular speedometer so this is redundant and costs more to produce and extra step on the assembly line, plus different windshield to keep in stock.

another awesome thing about this, is turning off all the interior lighting like dash lights on the radio and speedo and have this alone. did that once borrowing a friends car and it was awesome

saw them, but its not the same. it makes the dash look cluttered. and the units i have seen look cheap.

owned many chevy and buick wbody sedans some ex-rentals. nothing special, but they made great daily drivers. the front heavy FWD design was bad for handling but made them great in the snow while the camaro was put away for the winter. i am a bit of a GM fan boy too

Pontiac G8 ST. it almost made it to prouction. the USA was so close to having a modern day El Camino, despite it being a Pontiac rather than Chevy.

in 2003 this got me excited. The Mercury Messanger concept. I grew up loving 83-97 mercury cougars. Around 2003 the mercury brand had a nice look but nothing stood out. The FWD cougar was discontinued in 2002 leaving the brands with sedans and suvs. This would have been a nice addition to the brand. Could have

Wow! did not know of any non-GM cars that had it.

cost savings sadly. Why every top of the line GM car does not have this is ridiculous.

I still regret not buying a Grand Prix years ago for this feature. I just thought it was just too awesome. But many cars with this feature today i cant afford or not the type of car i would buy.

and Oldsmobile Cutlass lol

agreed, that senor will never fail

i am really liking the lack of engine cover on this. hopefully its a new trend

back in the 1980s we laughed at Knight Riders “pursuit mode”!!!

amazing concept! aerodynamic for highway drives and shorter for parking.

done both, neither was as bad as some others i have seen on other FWD V6 sedans in my family. so glad everyone in my family is leasing these days haha

Wbody Impala, or Impala Limited. I have owned several wbody cars over the years as daily drivers and found them really easy to work on. most things in the engine bay is easy to reach, the suspension system is extremely basic. parts are pretty cheap the wbody has been around for almost 30 years. And the transmission

hope this also leads to standard spare tire. went to look at one and the dealer did not have one in stock with a spare. Diesel would be a nice option. With the popularity in the USA of small SUVs a diesel option would make it stand out, but it might also take sales from the Jetta TDI wagon

i am very impressed with the 0-60 of the 4 turbo. i wonder how that compares to the 1990s-2000s v8 camaros.

wow, seeing the car as a whole just turned me off from it! first pic looked like a jetta. the new pic looks like a ugly versa!

felt the same way for years. I dream of finding another 1986 Cougar like i had as a first car. Problem is there is not enough of a following for reproduction parts and so many get crushed. finding parts is tough. to keep a prestine one that i want outside is just sad
