You should definitely swap a Buick 231 v6 in there. It bolts up to the T90. Look, Im all for originality but fixing that boat anchor engine is going to be way more trouble than its worth.

If you have room for a lift, I would highly recommend looking for a dealership or automotive repair shop that is updating their lifts. A good friend of mine got one for basically free from a local dealership that was doing just that. It was recently re-certified and everything! I think it cost him a few hundred…

My Audi, unique snowflake that it is, won’t fire the ignition coils unless the ECM sees more than 11.8v from the battery. Under load from the starter, it doesn’t take much for a battery to fail this test.
