Tomato, TomAto.. lol
these patents are getting ridiculous. Soon you won't be able to drive a car because Ford will patent "the box with four wheels and an engine that travels on roads" (well, they would if they were Apple.)
Funny, another Star Trek story.
that's what I was thinking. Considering the amount of money Microsoft are making from Android, you'd think they would show them some love
yeah, was thinking the same. Kinect, using a variation of a touch-screen device software, so you could remotely swipe etc.

yeah, but pros, using pro equipment to make webshows, probably won't need beginners tutorials on how to do it
andoid: put widgets on your phone: wifi/3g/gps/BT. And get into the habit of turning them off when you don't need them. Doubles battery life.
I guess Premiere, which was the first one I used back in the day. Saying that, been using Lightworks for a few months and it's pretty awesome.
Soundrop is pretty cool too. Multi-user chatroom/playlist, like Turntablefm. Unlike Turntable though, it's open to users in Europe.

on the contrary, the fact none of my friends are on it is a PLUS (or a +) in my book.
how about some tutorials that feature:
irrelevant where the site is based. Lifehacker has a worldwide audience, on the WORLDWIDE web. So it's just common courtesy to specify such things.
"for a long while, users have wished for the ability to...." actually use Google Voice in the countries outside the USA
CDburnerXP saved me from the ever-bloating monster that was Nero, and for that I am forever thankful.
there was an Expose clone for Vista that was pretty good:
try Lightworks. Fantastic video editor (Pulp Fiction was cut on it), and costs precisely $0
