ironically enough, Mad Max wasn’t a completely broken/ unbalanced game and it techinically has the nostalgia factor going, and Kotaku gave it a No....then proceeded to write about 4 follow-up articles (from different writers from the reviewer) who pretty much enjoyed the game. Go figure.
