While not a true 10 speed transmission the CB1000 and CB900 motorcycles in the early 80s and late 70s had a 5 speed transmission with a hi-low range that made them a 10 speed. I’ve never seen a detailed explanation on how that worked. Cough, cough, hint, hint.
