As I get older and life kicks in, I find fewer things to get genuinely excited over. When something comes along that truly is exciting, I try to savor it, and sometimes that involves keeping the element of surprise. Can’t judge anyone else for doing the same thing, even if I don’t feel as strongly about it.

The original was more of an action RPG, while the sequel felt like it wanted to be a hack-and-slash or something. I dunno. I totally agree with you, though, and I'd mark out like crazy if thy ever HD-ified the original. It still holds up today.

I saw these guys at Madison Square Garden last year- amazing experience. So over the top. It seemed to be a largely Asian crowd, but there were people of all ages, and many in tears by the end of it. It was awesome to witness the impact X have made on multiple generations.
