I was a regular Mac user in the early 90's. I'm pretty sure this feature has been around pretty much forever. That doesn't make this any less useful of a tip, but for some reason I feel compelled to point that out. How this feature isn't more commonly known I'm not sure.

So here's where I get stuck with the WOL feature. The user manual says

Ummmm. No. The free part is free and can be used from any PC/Mac for free. Using it on iOS is not free.

I must be doing something wrong... The description I read said that you needed to have at least one other PC on your LAN using LogMeIn and already on. When I tried this feature - both with the PC off and in Sleep mode - it didn't work. Have any links to instructions? Their own website is a bit thin on details.

How is this any different than Click2Copy.com? I use it all the time to send files back and forth from my home PC while traveling. The description given in the article is exactly what Click2Copy does.

I used this last week at the Redskins home game. It was awesome. Instant replay from every angle and the ability to watch the RedZone channel. I kept the RedZone channel on most of the time with a headphone in one ear. Didn't miss a beat of football all day. And they work in the parking lot - so while I'm tailgaiting…
