It's just a perception of cutting corners. If I had been driving a Chrysler 200 for a couple years, then bought myself a brand new Ghibli at 86k, and saw the exact same system as in my old 200, that would bother me a bit. I realize there will be part sharing across platforms, but does it have to be so blatant?

That last sentence just made all of you rejoice, celebrate, and shout out your love for Maserati and possibly for me. The problem is that you can't just say that steering is better because it's hydraulic. A good electric system is better than a bad hydraulic system, and the steering in this car is mediocre.

Difference in your iDrive analogy is that they're all BMWs. I'm ok with sharing the architecture and software across brands. As you note, uConnect is quite good. But I don't like that its look and feel is exactly the same in both. Is a different font reinventing the wheel?

It must be by corporate intent that Ramaciotti and Tencone are putting out duds like the Quattroporte and this Ghibli when they can pen something as beautiful as the Alfieri. A guy in my building will park his Ghibli out in front on the street, and it might as well be invisible. Its smiling Snoopy snout and generic

Oh that's right, this car is just a rebadged Toyota.

I disagree, I know a kid who has had plenty of powerful cars and has never had a problem. He's a damn good driver. Blanket statements are silly.

It's no V6 Mustang!

No magic bullet. It's just another tool in our arsenal. And the more tools we have, the better it will get.

I've wrenched on everything from 2002s to 510s and bikes, swapped a 2ZZ into by MR2 and made a World Challenge clone out of my B5 A4. But that's besides the point. We've got to redefine what it means to be a gearhead in the 21st century. It's going to be a combination of exploiting new tech and keeping the old stuff

I agree! Ask anyone who is worth their weight in freedom if the government is going to dismantle our liberties and they'll say yes. Maybe some people are ok with handing over their freedoms but not this guy.

Hahaha... Impotent Rage, thy name is Buzz Killington.

Change is scary. And for car enthusiasts, we’ll experience more change in the next 10 years than we have in the past

Not only are you an inexperienced outsider who is woefully unfamiliar with the full In-n-Out menu, you also neglect to note the lottery-like quality control at Whuddabugar. Sometimes it's a turdburger and soggy fries, sometimes the burger is great and the fries are limp, or vice versa. You never know. And the quality

Buying a book does not mean you enjoy the contents or even finished the book. I bought Harry Potter books, am I a wizard? Seriously, am I a wizard? I told my dad I was a wizard and he said no you are just a fairy. So if you do know that I am a real wizard please tell me, I would hate to have wasted all that money

but a jalapeño and cheese double Whataburger with grilled onions is hard to top

Your hatred for women and minorities doesn't make what you say true. Get help.

Why do women scare you so much?

This comment is the definition of an over exaggeration

Rather, it looks suspiciously like the weave of carbon fiber.
