Consumers don't choose based on moral grounds. It's the sad truth.

I'm saying that your choice to boycott a company because they are Chinese wont change anything. EVERYTHING related to consumer goods has China involved one way or another. You're focusing on the government and not on the people, who are greatly benefited by these factory jobs. http://blog.ted.com/2012/06/27/lis…

Really, you're comparing them to terrorists?

I was excited about that CLK55 at first because it looked mint. But after some googling saw it didn't come with the supercharged engine from the E55.

If the Chinese auto industry learns they should be making well built cars like Volvos then is it such a bad thing?

At Autoblog the video of the touchscreen still seemed kind of slow and used a lot of two finger swipes to go through the menus. It was still better than most touchscreens on the market (looking at you CUE) but still lagged behind something like an iPad. I still think a controller is the best solution.

To be fair to Johan both of these cars were in development way before he was ever in charge. I don't think he had much say in them so he has to make the best out of the situation. Something more comfortable with a bit more power. Probably a 2 or 3 series BMW.

I've never seen a lease longer than 39 months offered, and even then it's because BMW wants winter leases to finish in the spring.

Huh? How is it more of a humble car than the Miata? It's the same weight with more power 5 years before the Miata was even a thing.

Maseratis are some of the worst built cars in existence and not great to drive. Even the newer sedans are tarted up Chrysler platform cars.

Why would Apple buy Tesla when their patents are open now? All they need to do, and what it looks like they are doing is poach battery and automobile engineers.

Put it up on swapalease.com or leasetrader.com.

Because no one in the US is going to buy a work van badged as a Fiat.

The Renault Samsung SM7.

If only there was a million mile Lexus around that they could showcase that reliability.

The 8-speed auto would still hinder it. The DCT in the BMW is a masterpiece when it comes to performance. That and turbos give it more torque off the line.
