While I always advocate adopting from shelters, some people have legitimate reasons to get a specific purebread dog. My mother loves dogs but is allergic to the amount of hair the average dog sheds. For her a Shih-Tzu was the best companion. While i know hypoallergenic dogs are BS, the Shih-Tzu does not shed anywhere

The mobile site is greatly improved. Faster and smoother.

I'm not impressed with the design, it looks like something that should've been on the market 5 years ago, not being debuted today.

The interior is so....bland.

Despite all the special editions, production numbers are pretty low. Only around 450 units. Porsche is selling 918 918s and Ferrari is selling 499 LaFerraris. It's not like they're selling 9,000 cars like the Gallardo.

The Si is still a very capable car. The shifter is best in class, the steering is great, it has an actual LSD (unlike the ST), and is around 250lbs lighter. It is slower, but only slightly. (6.5s 0-60 compared to 6.2s for the ST).

http://shoutengine.com is a pretty recent podcast hosting service I think deserves a mention. They offer a free hosting subscription plan.

Well of course it'll be more engaging to drive, it's smaller and lighter. Seeing both side by side you really notice the size difference. For an extra couple thousand I'd rather have the nicer interior (full leather recaros), more space, and bump in power.

And once you do your DIY maintenance expect the resale value of your car to plummet. People that buy these cars, even used, want consistent service records from reputable shops. So while you'll save money in the short term doing it yourself, when it comes to selling it you're gonna be losing out on a good amount.

Your Wrangler has the old Uconnect system with the smaller 6" screen.

They haven't fully switched to cable TV. They're on break, which really means they're filming stuff right now for the new season. A new season is starting at the end of July on YouTube.

People hear the word "speakers" and assume they're using a prerecorded track. This system is really no different than the piped in system the FRS and ST cars use. And if it still bothers people all you have to do is pull a fuse to disable it.

It's the actual engine sounds. There's a microphone in the engine bay.

It is piped in by placing the microphone in the engine bay. It's not a prerecorded track, you're hearing the engine working in real time.

I guess by chaparral you mean this.

We have: Malibu Canyons, Angeles Crest, Route 33, all of the foothill mountains, and Mulholland drive.

Those two cons have very little impact on the majority of people living here. Most people aren't in areas where the wild fires are threatening, and the fires that do occur are taken care of relatively quick. As for drought issue, the only difference now is that DWP recommends you water your lawn at a specific time or

Nothing beats the canyon roads in and around LA.

what. A car is almost mandatory in LA. The LA Torch is talking about isn't even the city, but the county. It's huge, and public transport sucks. There's no real "city"in LA besides downtown (which isn't what most people think LA is), unlike NYC, or Chicago.

Spot on with this article. I live in the birthplace of hotrodding in LA county, and the diversity of cars here is unmatched. On some days in the older parts of town you almost feel like you're back in the 60s with all the old cars out, especially in the summertime.
