Agreed. I watched this over the weekend and it was a terrible movie. I gave it 2 stars. Makes Transcendence look mediocre and that was a bad movie, with a far better premise.

I love all of Del Toro’s films, even when I have to read the English captions for his non-English speaking movies. Agreed. I love both the 1951 version and the Carpenter version, but I like Carpenter’s version so much better, because it introduces the “fake” organism.
