Born to Run: Yes, the title fits, Kate Austen is born to run. But why does she have to this time?

The Greater Good: Using some notes I wrote last time…
If nothing else, I'll miss Debbie being in the game just to see what the editors would come up with next for her confessionals.
It's already been said plenty, but that was definitely one of the funniest episodes the show has ever done, and it's a shame that we won't get more Dennis Haysbert-Andre Braugher buddy scenes.
Do No Harm: And so now we come to Jack (for the 3rd time) trying to save Boone's life after Locke left him to go back to the hatch. In a surprising (at least to me) first flashback scene, Jack's getting married. Not only that, his bride-to-be, Modern Family's Julie Bowen, was someone that he had previously fixed. …
Deus Ex Machina: John Locke, once again, reminds me why he was such a fascinating character in Season 1. He's spent a lot of time working on the hatch since he and Boone found it in hour 11, but Locke has still been a major part of the Island community, so in some way, it's painful to watch him get sucked in this…
While I'm enjoying this season more than I thought I would, I have to say I'm getting somewhat frustrated with the fact that they continue to have balance challenges for seemingly every individual immunity. Is it just me, or have 90% of these challenges after the merge (for at least these two seasons) been solely…
Yeah, when they said Aubry needed antibiotics, I thought that was it for her and then there might be still time for a Tribal. It doesn't seem right that her infection can be treated there and Neal's could not. But better to be on the safe side, I guess. Shame for Neal, he seemed like a player who could go far, if…
Numbers: It's hard to believe after viewing the whole series that it took Hurley this long to get his own flashback, but it was definitely worth the wait. He's had plenty of side roles leading up to this, being Jack's go-to guy, Charlie's friend, and general comic relief. But Hurley had definitely proven to this…
…in Translation: In Season 1, as we're still learning about these characters, we have to trust that things are not always as they seem. Sawyer looked like a guy who would be constantly excluded from the group (mostly by his own doing), now it's Jin who's on the outside looking in.
Hey @avclub-387212ba9644c8b7f3d7178512148235:disqus, if you're still out there, I checked out your newest story, and I think it's off to an interesting start. Looking forward to what you might have in the works for Hurley and Sawyer in that one. You definitely have a better handle on Hurley than most of the writers…
Peter's just way too much of a wild card to try to keep around to the end. He's been scheming since Day 1, and even if he and Liz had seized the majority a couple weeks ago, he would have been kicked off his throne in a very short time. An overconfident Survivor player is never long for this game.
It definitely seems like they're setting him up for a big fall though, as Carrie mentioned.
Outlaws: After dealing with the Ethan situation, it was refreshing to get back to a simple story featuring one of the breakout characters. Even though it's still too early for him to be everyone's best friend, Sawyer is gradually becoming a part of the group, as evidenced by his exchange with Sayid after the two were…
Homecoming: I don't know if it's accurate, but I remember a ton of hype for this episode, since the Ethan storyline was going to be resolved. It's certainly not Charlie's best flashback, but I still get a laugh out of him throwing up in the copy machine.
Special: You would think fourteen hours in and several weeks on the Island time-wise, someone would have already thought to build a raft, like Sayid, for instance. I guess his concern was more in trying to help the group survive, much like Jack, and finding the reason why no one's seemingly getting off the Island.
Hearts and Minds: Three things I noticed watching this again…
Rob and Amber, and Ethan and Jenna…I think that was it.
I'd like to know what all those different vetoes mean.
Whatever the Case May Be: The big takeaways from this hour are the move away from the wreckage to the beach camp, and the second flashback for Kate.
