I wonder how that whole Tribal is going to be scored for the Pick-4. I needed both Jeremy and Kelley to play those idols to stay in the hunt, and both winning immunity was helpful too. I'm hoping that Jeremy's unanimous win was enough to keep me top 4 overall.

Yeah that was epic. I'd also say that this was perhaps the best final four they've ever had as well. It's fun to watch players making big moves and everyone appreciating those big moves in turn.

Never change, Keith. **spit**

The Candidate: No "Previously on Lost…" intro this time, so they're getting right to the good stuff…

The Last Recruit: As we approach the end of the series, people are coming together on both the Island and the sideways. At the end of last week, Hurley had led Jack, Sun, and Lapidus to Locke's camp, where it's time for another big Jack/Locke convo.

Rooting for Jeremy and Kelley, and Spencer would also be a worthy winner. Just for fun, I'm going to say the final three will be Jeremy, Kelley, and Keith with Jeremy getting 6 votes to Kelley's 4.

Okay, you got me thinking about it, so here's what I came up with…

"Stupid trash…rotten, stinking…hate world, revenge soon…take out on everyone…"

"They let me sign checks with a stamp, Marge. A stamp!"

The A.V. Club

I've written plenty about Hurley myself, so I'm happy to continue the discussion any time you'd like. It sounds like you're not thrilled about how the sideways played out, but I'm not completely sure since some of your earlier comments were positive. When you say Hurley made himself miserable in the sideways,

That's definitely a fair point, and I wanted to see more from Claire in Season 6, but my sense is that the writers struggled with her more than any main character, once she had Aaron. Doc Jensen at Entertainment Weekly suggested that they use Across the Sea to show what Claire was doing in those 3 years while

This could be a case, if that is the final three, of whoever gives the best speech putting them over the top in the votes. I would be satisfied with any of the three winning, but I'm probably rooting for Jeremy the most. Spencer should be the most jury-ready of the three, but I do think Kelley would come prepared as

Also, Spencer has really built a case for himself over the last few weeks that he's the player to beat, if you go by the edit. Jeremy seems to be a near-lock for the final three, but Spencer's the one driving the bus on these moves. The only reason Fishbach wasn't voted out, like Spencer wanted, before Ciera was

Yeah, I thought that was random too that Abi voted for Keith, especially after all the Abi/Tasha talk. This was a case of Spencer's logic being useful, while Abi may have furthered his game for this vote, she wouldn't be likely at all to stick with that group of 4. It's too late in the game to suddenly start

Yeah, what else can it be at this point? Jeremy and Kelley both still have the idols and assuming neither wins immunity, they should be targets of either side of the vote.

Dream final three would still be Jeremy, Spencer, and Kelley. I agree that this was an average episode, which is kind of disappointing because I really wanted to see some more fireworks before the end. Abi really thinks she was "carrying" others to the end? Wow.

Appreciate the feedback, I did write an outline sometime after the finale aired in 2010, but I never really went beyond that, and I don't have any plans to. It was fun to just ponder "What if…" and let it be. I enjoy reading it more than writing it, anyway.

Everybody Loves Hugo: As it was in Season 1, Hurley is the last castaway to get a featured hour (technically Claire never got one, but I think most of us count What Kate Does as a joint Kate/Claire sideways feature). It's clear that in this reality, as on the Island, everybody truly does think the world of Hugo

Happily Ever After: After Desmond seemingly disappeared from the Oceanic flight in the sideways, we didn't see him again until he was revealed to be the "package" on the sub in last week's review. This hour is spent almost entirely with Desmond, as he gets off the Oceanic flight, has brief encounters with Hurley and
