Yeah, Locke is lying, which I didn't make clear as I tend to type this stuff on the fly. He's well aware of how the Island is controlling his fate, like when he sees the young Jacob early in this hour. I actually don't think he had to do much convincing to get Sawyer on board, Sawyer was well on his way to leaving

I think you could argue that the flash sideways were unfinished business for all the castaways who died too soon, or didn't get to address what they wanted to before something happened.

Survivor has really been on a roll for the past few years, and Second Chance, dare I say, is giving Cagayan a run for its money thus far.

Me too, and the game has shifted enough that they certainly could stay in it. Maybe this will get everyone's attention and it will be like Spencer suggested last week…different voting blocs every Tribal.

Only Savage can flip off a little ball and make it look that amusing.

I've been rooting for Kelley Wentworth from day one, so I'm glad she made the right move to save herself. My concern for her is that like that "Bros" alliance in Caramoan, she will not have anything to save herself now with the Idol gone. There's always the possibility she gets another one, but now she's on

The Substitute: I would vote for this as the best hour of the first four in Season 6, but it's easy to say that when the focus is back on Locke. On the Island, the new version of Locke (I don't know what the consensus ended up being, Smocke? Fake Locke? Flocke?) starts looking for people to join him in leaving.

What Kate Does: I've been fascinated with the episode titles that Lost chooses, and What Kate Does is one that's been on my mind lately. In the flash sideways, as I mentioned last week, Kate is still a fugitive, but this time it's for blowing up her house with a plumber inside. I do remember his name specifically

Yeah, that's my mistake…when I say he picked Kate first, it's just that she was shown first in the flashbacks during The Incident, so I didn't think about Sawyer actually being first by calendar year. I do feel like the writers specifically gave Kate the first flashback, but I don't have a good reason why.

Don't apologize for writing a lot, I really enjoy reading what you have to say about the show and it's always interesting to try to respond to. And honestly, I wouldn't worry about spoilers at this point; anyone who is checking in has already seen the show in full, so we're not ruining anything.

And Jeremy and Wentworth did have an early alliance in SJDS, so there's always a possibility that they try to team up again. I don't think anyone suspects that they could be secretly working together either.

I was thinking Spencer switching makes it 5-4 Tasha, but you're right. If he was voting for Ciera, then it's tied instead, so yeah no reason to switch.

He could have done it if he wanted to though, I think at that point he was finally satisfied that he had found a group to work with and he didn't want to rock the boat.

I do agree with that, Wentworth especially seemed to be very observant of what was going on and she did well to not add any gasoline to the fire. She could still do a lot of damage in this game; I wouldn't be surprised to see her team up with Joe or Spencer and find a way to come out on top in final three.

It's going to be fascinating to see how Idols come into play…no one seems to have a clue that Kelley and Jeremy both have one, and they could easily wreck someone's game if they play this right.

I feel like we didn't see something before Tribal that would explain why Ciera voted for Savage, along with Kelley Wentworth voting for Kass. Kass thought she had Spencer, and since they only needed five because of the vote split, something caused that plan to be changed. Or maybe Ciera just decided to listen to

LA X: Season 6 opens with the aftermath of Juliet hitting the bomb, and the cut to Jack being back on Oceanic 815. Are we starting over from the beginning? Is this a new timeline? When the turbulence hits, we wait…and nothing happens. Bernard emerges from the bathroom and sits down next to Rose, and the flight

My opinion that the "leader" in the episode title was not supposed to be Hurley, not yet. Hurley does demonstrate leadership throughout the show, but more than often, he's following the lead of his friends or helping them make better choices.

I should clarify: when I say I wanted to see the bomb reset time, I didn't want to lose what we watched for five seasons. Pre-Season 6, hearing that original castaways would be back made me think we would see a separate storyline where they crash again, but make better choices this time. That was fueled partly by

For those of you still checking in, I plan to go right into Season 6 starting November 4 and do two episodes every Wednesday, which should wrap up the series by year's end. Here's the schedule:
