"Look, um, I'm embarrassed to admit this but you forced me to: I can't go out tonight because…I have sweaty boot rash."

*****Meet Kevin Johnson: In 2008, I don't remember how popular DVR was, but I didn't get to see this one live, as I was watching March Madness at the time. Then the next afternoon, I flipped over to ABC to see Michael in a hospital bed, but it didn't quite look like a Lost episode to me. It turns out our local ABC

To those of you outside the U.S., just want to wish you a Happy Lost Day!

Hey Jordo, I don't know if you've checked here recently, but we've been trying to discuss Season 4 over the last month or so. Since you've mentioned your love of the season, we could use another friendly commenter to get the discussion going. Trying to do it on Wednesday at the same time as Myles, hope to see you

Oh yeah, every time I finish The Candidate, I think back to watching it on ABC in 2010. You knew something huge was coming, but there was no preparing for it. When Kate gets shot, that was when I started jumping off my couch, thinking "It's on now, everyone's fair game". But I still couldn't believe my eyes when

Sun and Jin really spent a lot of time in the background after Season 1, maybe that was by design. With their marriage reconciled, there wasn't a lot of drama to mine from them after that. Yet they still remain, at least to me, one of the most memorable couples from the show.

I really wish that we had gotten another flashback for Juliet. Most likely, it would have had to come from the Dharma Initiative days when the drama was low, so I understand why they didn't do it. But I agree, Elizabeth Mitchell was outstanding in the role and we didn't get to see enough of her.

"I didn't raise him to be a quitter, Marge. It must have been you. You've quit every job you've ever had - cop, pretzel vendor, church counselor, professional gambler…"

"You know, Milhouse, you are getting a little doughy."

"The modern world can bite my splintery, wooden ass!"

"That new robot is great, huh? Sure made me look like a pile of crap!"

"Dear Lord! A coaster! The Femmzoil must be sashaying girlishly into your processor."

"C'mon Hermes, beat that mahogany god!"

Quiet! I'm about to begin the process of reshaping this review into an A-minus.

If you have even the slightest respect for the dignity of The A.V. Club…

"Don't worry, the fat pig will do fine thanks to this flabbo-dynamic bodysuit I've designed. It redistributes his weight, shifting his center of gravity closer to his knees."

Ji Yeon: I think I can safely admit this since we don't have much of an audience, I did not catch on to Jin being in a flashback. It should have probably been obvious, especially since they were running out of people to fill the Oceanic 6.
