I believe the first instance of the ash being disturbed was around the midway point of The Incident when Lapidus and Ilana's team arrived at the cabin.

YES! That was so satisfying.
He's been in a lot of TV shows, hasn't he? I remember him from Season 2 of 24 as well.
So many great quotes to come…
So who is the better liar when all is said and done, Ben or Sawyer?
It is.
Wow, great post, maybe you should do the Season 4-6 reviews if AV Club isn't going to continue it. ;-)
One of those A+ coming in a couple weeks? ;-)
And real life connection too: Mary-Jo was played by Brittny Perrineau, who's married to Harold Perrineau (Michael).
I say let's not be too hasty in judging how this next season will turn out. Most of us thought Season 30 was going to be awesome, and I don't think many people will be ranking it any higher than top 20. Some of these players may not jump off the screen based on their first go-round, but I think we've got a good…
Zoidberg: This company's circling the drain, I tell you. I'd sell my stock right now for a sandwich!
Jack and Kate trying to save Charlie in Season 1.
You're probably right, but remember, Hurley's going to be an active participant in a few episodes. You can't save everyone, and I'm not sure even Hurley would have been able to stand in Sawyer's way at that moment. Maybe if this was Season 4 though…
I'm not sure that's been the case, Season 1 got some fairly heavy traffic last summer. But with the gap between Seasons 2 and 3, it does seem like it's slowed down a lot. One reason could be, now that Expose's been reviewed, there's no one speculating about how that episode will be received 8 years later. It seemed…
Doesn't look like it at this point, and I'm sure seeing how low the comments have been lately is not going to convince them to take another look back.
Wondering if I'm in the minority on this: Saturday will be the five-year anniversary of the finale, so I was definitely feeling in the mood to watch Lost, even though I just finished Season 5 (trying to give myself a little breathing room between seasons). Anyway, today I found an old copy of a recap that ABC liked…
I sure hope so, because Through The Looking Glass deserves all the comments it gets and I would hate to see the (possibly) last Lost recap land with a thud.
Seriously, only two comments so far? I expected at least ten times that when I got to this point. The Brig is a fantastic hour, yet another late Season 3 episode worthy of being overall top ten. I don't know how Josh Holloway doesn't at least get an Emmy nomination for his performance. The rage he summoned as he…
I see a time jump coming for the series finale whenever it airs, lately I feel like it's been Frankie narrating this from the future, so my guess is it will be around ten years later at the end and we'll see where everyone in the family is in their lives.
"I didn't hit the batter! For once I was pitching and not just belly-itching!"
