I don't really think there are that many viewers interested in seeing Jeff/Annie, and at this point, if it hasn't happened already, it's not going to. I'd really just like to see them make the show as funny as possible (especially if it's the last season) and if a romance happens naturally in the midst of that, then

I miss The Simpsons game that was in arcades in the 90's. That was one I could have easily wasted several dollars on, and probably did on more than one occasion.

Interesting timing on another of those marathon episodes yesterday: in the beginning of "Please Homer, Don't Hammer 'Em", Marge and Homer visit a bookstore in the mall. As they're looking over the books and talking, in the background, there's a book that says Kansas City Royals: Forever Champions. Another Simpsons

The Simpsons was definitely the #1 can't miss show growing up, but plenty of other cartoons to enjoy as well. The Flintstones, the Jetsons, Scooby-Doo, any Looney Tunes (but especially Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote) all rate highly. As for live action, Saved by the Bell was a weekly Saturday staple, which seems

That I can definitely see, it always looked like the Jack-Hurley scenes early on consisted of Hurley trying to get Jack to crack a smile or laugh at one of his jokes. But Jorge was probably trying to do that to everyone…as I'm typing this, I think it's a Season 2 episode that we're probably not too far away from

You're probably right, but it is interesting how certain Lost episodes have been received based on when they aired. Across the Sea comes to mind immediately; I get why that came on near the end given what we saw next, but I still wonder if that hour would have been better off airing earlier as well. I also like Doc

Man, The Simpsons was on CONSTANTLY in reruns in the 90's, I remember it being a nightly ritual to watch it at 7:00, then the same episode would repeat on a different channel at 7:30, so I watched it again. And it was still just as funny the second time around.

Love that movie for so many reasons, and I should have mentioned before that I liked your thoughts on Jack as well. He was talking about himself in Man of Science, Man of Faith and didn't even know it: "All roads lead here"

I think it's Season 1, Episode 20 (Do No Harm).

Lighthouse is a highlight of Season 6, still one of my favorite Jack-centric hours. Jack and Hurley working together was always a good thing; after Season 1, we never quite got enough of that.

Liked for the Cool Runnings reference.

Thanks for posting this, really good explanation of the connections.

I've never really thought about it like that before…interesting take. I'll try to keep these reasons in mind the next time I watch it.

I don't think it's necessarily accurate to say that, I watched it live and I didn't get a great thrill out of it either. But in hindsight, it is one of the episodes that looks much different because of what happened later. Although @mattepntr:disqus says below the placement of the episode is one reason to love it, I

I've thought too, after watching The Other Woman again, that Harper was Smokey as well. How else would she know that Ben was where he wanted to be?

I don't think I would go to that level of hate regarding Susan, but her lawyer…man, was she annoying. How is Michael supposed to know anything about who Walt is, his likes and dislikes, when Michael never gets a chance to see him, talk to him, actually spend time with him. You'd think from the lawyer's questioning

All of us should make it a goal to recruit a new fan to Lost before these reviews are over. ;-) I've told a couple friends about it, and it's actually one of the most popular shows in my long-running fantasy football league, but I haven't been able to personally convince anyone to give it a try yet.

It seems that most Lost fans enjoy that episode so much, but for some reason, I just can't get into The Other 48 Days like the rest of you. Maybe it's because most of the Tailies end up not mattering to the whole story, but I've just never really gotten into it. It's a quality hour, for sure, just not one of my

I just watched the last episode of How I Met Your Mother on FX again yesterday…I wasn't a hardcore fan of that show, but I really wish they had ended it on Ted meeting the mother at the train station. And regarding Lost, even though it's kind of nice to see Shannon again, it's definitely Nadia who Sayid has the

That's great, I love White Rabbit too…never can get enough of those iconic scenes (Jack and Locke discussing the island, Jack's "live together, die alone"). One of those I always have to start watching if I see it on TV, although it seems that G4 is not airing it anymore.
