Does anyone reading these reviews watch classic 24? I just finished the 2nd season, and that year had several supporting players who went on to Lost: Daniel Dae Kim (Agent Baker), Alan Dale (VP Prescott), Reiko Aylesworth (Michelle Dessler), Anthony Azizi (Mamoud Faheen), and there may be a couple others I'm

I don't know if I'm in the minority or not, but I liked the montages they used, especially in Season 1. There were a lot more lighter moments than there were in the later seasons, and it was always nice to see the group taking a breath before moving on to the next big crisis. I think it was necessary for the story

I thought he had some good moments on Intelligence, but yeah, I can understand why that show was not renewed.

Exactly. There's a difference between least favorite episode and worst episode, and it's hard to see how Homecoming rates below those two.

Agreed on The Other Woman, that was the one episode in season 4 that I felt really added nothing new to the story. It was disappointing after Juliet had been such a great addition to the cast in season 3.

I've gone back and forth on what my "bottom three" would be, and I say that because I've enjoyed every season, but my ranking would be 1, 3, 4, 6, 2, 5. And the difference between those last three is not big, for me anyway.

Regarding Hearts and Minds, surprising to me that Myles did not mention the line from Locke in reference to Sayid in his Stray Observations: "We're gonna want him on our side."
This was meant to apply to the Hatch, obviously, but Sayid wasn't even in favor of opening it when he was let in on the secret. But it would

I've actually read a couple things that say Ian Somerhalder was the first actor cast on the show, but either way, I guess your latter comment would still apply.

I remember that he couldn't find the "Any" key.

That wasn't my intent to point that out, but it is a fair point. The hype around Season 6, week to week, was so big that to not be able to see what was going on with every character could, at times, be a big disappointment.

Funny, I would probably highlight the exact same episodes for the best of Season 6. I'd also throw in a couple others: The Candidate and What They Died For.

It's a nice way to end things for those three characters, but if we ever do see another version of Lost, I'd love to see Hurley/Ben/Walt figure into it in some way.

Yeah, that's probably accurate, but I still get some good laughs out of the Hurley/Jin scenes and we do get a good Jack/Locke scene as well. Also nice to see Sun becoming more a part of the group with Kate learning her secret.

I saw something yesterday about TV near-death experiences, and Matthew Fox was one of them. Has anyone seen that story about Jack's climactic fight with the Man in Black where it turns out Terry O'Quinn was using a real knife to stab him? I had read it once before but had forgotten about it until yesterday. Luckily

It's actually a pretty good theory, if you want to buy into it. I recently came across a Lost link that sheds more light on this:

No way, man. We're gonna keep on rockin'….
forever.

Great points, and I have to add that the Pilot also remains as mind-blowing as ever since I see you left that off your list of Season 1 episodes, hopefully by mistake ;-)

Yeah, it would be great to see how everyone views the later seasons 4-5 years later, and how it compares to when it started. Plus it gives us many chances to debate which episodes were the best, favorite characters, quotes, etc.

Yeah, it really doesn't matter, I just personally don't think any episode of Season 1 would rate below a B. But that's one opinion, to each his own.

I guess Lostpedia and the Lost Encyclopedia don't have the same info, because according to the Encyclopedia, Hurley and Ben got Desmond back to his home. (I realize there are quite a few errors in the Encyclopedia, but I think we can agree on that this one is accurate)
