It holds up beautifully.

TV Land used to do this event every December where they'd marathon Christmas episodes of classic shows, and that All in the Family episode would play at least twice. It's compelling.

The Bunkers were Episcopalian. There are quite a few episodes that touch on this.

wow
They actually made that song into something listenable. Way to go!

I'd give it an A
I thought this episode was really funny. I couldn't stop laughing when Liz compared her vagina to a limo window closing.

whoa
Great episode, but that ending was absolutely crazy. These two don't know each other and they're making a huge mistake, yet this is classic Don. Remember when he asked Rachel Menken to run away with him? Or "The Jet Set?"

by the way
Is it too soon to do a Black Dynamite entry? That movie is definitely new cult.

hey there
You forgot to mention how funny it is. Great points about CGI, though. I never really thought about it, but it's the worst thing to happen to action movies in a long time.

To all the people who have been complaining that the 60's references are "too overt," I have to ask: Were we not supposed to know the show was set in the 60's?

The cult of "getting it?" What's there to get? It's freaking hilarious.

I love Mrs. Featherbottom, but the hardest I ever laughed at a fall was when that dog walked over a table into a trashcan in Justice is Blind.

My problem with the Charlize episodes is that they were funny when I didn't know what was going on with her, and after the reveal, fiding out it's just a really long "She's retarded!" joke feels really mean-spirited. That being said, season 3 was the weaker season, but it still had great moments.

I can't look at Tom Noonan without thinking of that movie. Pitch-perfect casting!

I don't think they are actually angry about it, but the repetitive confusion over it does make me question their Betty White Feelings.

It did, and it was one of the most fun of the nominated categories to watch.

variety writing
Wait, so the best variety award isn't televised anymore? I used to love those nomination sketches that each show would put together.

Chris' hell
I always thought it was hilarious that the idea of being stuck in an Irish bar for all eternity was their idea of hell.

five words
"God don't make no trash."

peggy hill
I'm surprised at all of the Peggy Hill hate here. I've always found her to be one of the funniest characters on the show.

God, just rereading that is making me laugh. Damn.
