haters gonna hate
I thought this was a well-written analysis of one of the best TV episodes ever written. Anyone who complains that it's too wordy or that it over-intellectualizes the humor of The Simpsons is reading the wrong website. /end sweeping generalization
I was 10 years old in 1996, four years before I saw Pulp Fiction for the first time, and I'm pretty sure I laughed at the references in this Simpsons episode.
Agreed! Sayid looked so bored. "I'm over this island."
wasn't feeling it
I didn't care much for this episode. I'm not the type of Lost fan that runs around groaning about answers every week, but this episode was sort of a bore for me.
oh snap
You are officially my favorite AVC writer because you're going to write about Eerie Indiana.
Yes, exactly
Thanks for pointing that out about Gabourey Sidibe, Noel. It bothered me all night.
hey scott!
You forgot to mention that Mary Woronov is in this movie, making it even more of a cult film, in spite of its recent release. Also: This is one of my absolute favorite columns, and I can't wait to see what is said about Serenity.
It took me a second to realize it was the pizza that knocked her out.
What I loved about it that while it wallowed in nostalgia, it still managed to be pretty creepy. Also: it is beautiful-looking in a way that reminds me of Suspiria. Not as colorful or over-the-top, obviously, but very good looking.
or Marcellus Wallace.
claire
I was a little weirded out that Claire said she would kill Kate, but I completely forgot that a psychic insisted that Claire raise Aaron herself or give him off to a couple of "Good" people in Los Angeles. Remember that emphasis on them being good? I forgot that too, but thank the gods for Lostpedia. Maybe Kate…
great episode
The image of Lois cutting off Hollis' arm will stay with me forever.
awesome
If this is true, and I get the chance to see him, I will scream and faint like those teen girls in Beatles' concert footage.
Bill will get a break once he stops creating his own problems.
Alby's boyfriend has no neck. It bothers me.
I just read that. It's hilarious.
I laughed out loud at the photo, so there.
Another amazing Joseph Gordon-Levitt movie is Mysterious Skin.
amazing
I'm in the middle of season 3 and I'm still in awe.
