I have to agree with Dan. I loved the movie and thought it was fine that it took away all the layering that was in the book. I don't know how that would have worked on screen, and Snyder did a great job adapting the story.

Seconded, Magnus. Brokeback Mountain is gorgeous.
I never noticed that they have no live-action sitcoms. Weird. That's fine with me because the last one I watched on Fox (the hotel show with Jerry O'Connell) was a pile of shit.
jeez
Leave it to The Simpsons to inspire such passionate nerd fights. In my opinion, season 11 was the beginning of the end, and I am happy to find quite a few bright spots since then.
andy!
Great interview. The man comes off so down to earth. I cannot wait until Conan comes back.
wow
I thought it was a little cheesy in parts, but overall very beautiful. All I wanted for these characters was some hope, a happy ending. So that they got it really pleased me.
Nope, Pawnee City, NE. And anyway, we in NE don't want to claim him.
*sits back*
I am here for the Wicker Man quotes.
hells yeah
I don't even watch Burn Notice or Friday Night Lights, but I will now because his endorsements were so enthusiastic. I love me some Patton.
dan attias
I remember seeing his name on some Six Feet Under episodes as well. Great episode!

I like the running joke that New Zealand is a bland place, "Like Scotland but further," but this episode was a bit of a dud.
whoops
Apparently enough to triple post.

Because that wasn't Marilyn Monroe.
I'm with you, Singing and Reading. I love them and watch every year even if I haven't seen any of the nominees.

She started out as pretty one-note, but as the show goes on, I'm finding her more and more complex. Bravo!
