Trying this in Vbox now...

I've tried booting the ubuntu installer from and iso, and my wubi install using this guide, but I keep getting stuck at this error:

Now I can finally use Wifi On my OSx86 partition, and keyboard in Vbox!

I followed the instructions exactly and it worked for my OS X partition (better than my virtual machine and actually using the partition)

Question: I have a flashdrive that I gave to a friend to put windows 8 on, I got it back unformatted. I can't format it anymore (but I can use EaseUS partition manager to recover a partition) and read/write speeds are around 3-10 kb/s

Out of the box, I prefer Mac and Linux because of the ease of use and lack of setup required (this coming from a guy that owns two hackintoshes on Core Solos)

does this work on core duo?
