Good catch!

I was in college and worked in a mall in 1989 and had my 78 rabbit that I drove all over the place and my roommate had a nasty cimmeron and my now ex wife had an 84 escort wagon automatic and my boss a honda crx.

Yeah. For all those people that are talking about how cool cars were in the 80s.. I present why most were not.

Many famous quotes are especially memorable because they were grammatically incorrect like this. See also one small step for man, ich bin ein Beliner, etc.

They are built like my neighbors cat. All fur and no cat.

If you’ve ever seen a Europa, the Matchbox ones are almost life size.

Must be very small people if they are driving matchbox cars.

I was making a delivery to a less than savory neighborhood, there was a large street party going on. I pulled into the driveway, and somebody opened the door to my car. I slammed it into reverse and the guy went under my door, and folded the door back.

Speaking from experience, sometimes you try to stop them because they are too impaired to drive. Problem is, they are likely also too impaired to listen to reason.

This is interesting.. just a little social thing that happened between my wife and I while we were taking her cousin out to look at some Christmas lights in the city.

My neighbors got into a big fight when I wasn’t home one day. She decides to leave and as she’s backing out of their driveway, he opens the door to stop her. She keeps going and her door catches on the trailer of a contractor I have replacing my roof, and completely folds the door back onto the front fender.

Unless he was targeting a certain race, religion, politics, etc, it’s not terrorism. Until they know for sure though, if they investigate it as such it’ll get more resources to figure it all out.

TBF, if you stop she’s most likely still going flying.

No dude that doesn’t constitute terrorism. His suicide note or journal just could pant the picture of someone who wanted to kill himself and others, not because or any specific reason or hate towards a specific group of people or for any “cause” There is a reason why investigations are done. Now if he hated Grateful

Terrorism involves political or ideological motives.  It’s not clear if either of those were behind this attack.

I never understood that either. This incident aside, getting away from that situation is usually the best option for all parties involved.

I don’t disagree, he should have stopped, she would still be alive. Not defending what he did, but I suspect he likely went back and forth hoping to shake her off, he did sadly, so he could leave.  The entire situation is messed up.

Yeah I said something similar just based on the well almost non existent information, I am pretty sure they were fighting, he tried to leave and she tried to stop him by jumping on the hood, and then well, it went wrong.

Ute is just what they call younger people in South Jersey.

Fully agree, hence my final statement that I wasn’t trying to say the guy isn’t to blame. But I still think it’s a bit disingenuous to call it “hit and killed”. I’ve got the feeling that every reader that hasn’t heard this story, will think that she was innocently riding her bike along the road when he hit and killed
