GM has a rich history of getting something right, and only doing it for a year or two. See the 1988 Fiero, when you finally stop listening to the bean counters.

I know it’s hard for sociopaths to understand these things, but sarcastically saying someone should kill themselves = just being an asshole, at best.
Innit.
I once had a boss who you could tell within about ten seconds of coming in in the morning if it was going to be a good day or a bad day.
The fact that high-stress workplaces are often toxic does not mean that they HAVE to be.
I love how people take “I’d like it if my bosses weren’t outright mean to me” to mean “I want everyone to be my bestie and I want everyone to praise me every time I do or say something I perceive as great.”
NASA is investigating how to use his upward failure as a renewable solid rocket fuel. They say they’ve never seen anything propel anything so far, so fast, from virtually nothing
One of the first rules of being funny is "know the room." Yes, we all know people (and sometimes co-workers) who can handle these kinds of jokes and attitudes, but it doesn't mean that everyone should be subjected to them.
Cool, do you often tell depressed people maybe they should kill themselves?
Based on his actions, I don’t think Fain wants a contract. I think he wants to gin up members, keep his presidency, and wield their power through a strike. But the actual boring work of getting together, negotiating, and drafting a contract? All of his blustery actions so far point to a complete disinterest in that.
Exactly! Did these people think they we joining summer camp or something? It’s a business! Not everyone is going to be your bestie. Not everyone is going to praise you every time do or say something you perceive as great. Not every one is going to be chipper to you in the morning. You’re going to run into different…
Thanks. Kind of a letdown :)
These so called toxic workplaces just sound like workplaces from my experience.
That whole “There once was a man from Nantucket” poem just got more interesting...
“The 1950s Cold War-era Tu-95 bombers likely aren’t being flown over the skies of Ukraine,”
In Mother Russia the tires land on the plane.
Vlad: “You know covering a plane in black objects doesn’t make it stealth right?”
…unlike America’s brand-spanking-new B-52 fleet…
Yeah, but in that Puma’s defense......Nope, I’ve got absolutely nothing.
It’s an unfortunate coincidence, not an insensitive cultural thing. I mean, what if the guy’s last name was “Hotel” or something. Should all the hotels on the LV Strip change their names?
I think “car hole” is more at their level.
