I hear ya. Even the lowly Grasshopper was around $300NZD back in the mid 80s....and that was just for the car! Somewhere stashed away, I still have a price list from Aucklands R/C store at the time, and the price of the Bruiser was $999! :-O

I like the side profile, the rear looks very Cobra Daytona Coupe and from head on its got a weird Panoz kinda thing goin on.
