In my experience, the only online game that comes close to this is Monster Hunter world. At least in that you can make your own unscripted epic moments. Hell, just last night I pulled a slide like your Horizon gif, except I also spun my camera and fired behind me which killed the monster. (Using lbg slide if curious)

I think I’ve heard that netflix plans to implement an X-ray view similar to prime video. Grain of salt though

While maybe not quite the “Best”, It’s my current goto when I feel an mmo itch. It’s great to hop in and have a literal adventure. No other mmo is doing that for me lately. Plus playing in first person (with some mods) is pretty fun....also the necromancer is dope as hell
