It's really nothing like that.

I think Clapton is overrated only in the sense that Citizen Kane is overrated. Still a great guitarist/movie, just not the indisputable greatest the way some people say.

1. Abbey Road
2. Sgt. Pepper
3. White Album
4. Rubber Soul
5. Revolver
6. Let It Be
7. Magical Mystery Tour
8. Help!
9. Please Please Me
10. A Hard Day's Night
11. With the Beatles
12. Beatles for Sale
13. Yellow Submarine

I think they're talking about Smiley Smile, not Smile.

I thought that was Paul's line.

Woah, hold on there - All Things Must Pass is the best album by an ex-Beatle. And I don't really see much in common with "Within You Without You"; there's hardly any Indian influence on All Things Must Pass, (The third disc of jams is kind of unnecessary, though).

Upvoted for not skipping songs. I concur.

One of my favorite Beatles songs to play on the piano, for that reason.

D&D yesterday, Sgt. Pepper and Pet Sounds today - what is this, "Things Aiwendil Loves Week"?

You know, Clapton is one of the greatest guitarists of all time, and you're right - he probably was the least talented in that band.

Also S.F. Sorrow, Days of Future Passed, Odessey and Oracle, Strange Days. 1967 may have been the best year for music in the history of civilization.

Yeah, there's actually a lot of awful pseudo-Beach Boys stuff from the '80s, but "Kokomo" is the only one you're liable to be accidentally subjected to these days.

Never trust anyone who doesn't like the Beatles.

It's celebrated for both.

"White Room" is better, though.

That thing you like? Yeah, that's not good anymore, because time has passed.

Nonsense. I like the Moody Blues a lot, but none of their other albums comes close to Days of Future Passed. And if one did, it would be A Question of Balance.

Sunflower has some great stuff - "Slip on Through", "This Whole World", "Our Sweet Love", and "Forever" are all good to great. And Surf's Up has "'Til I Die".

What song on Odessey and Oracle don't you like!? I don't think I'd put it above either Sgt. Pepper or Pet Sounds, but I do think every song on it is pretty great.

I kind of can't stand Nico. The Velvet Underground is better than The Velvet Underground and Nico.
