Taking it into consideration is not that same thing as deciding on it and backing out. I understood the saga to mean that she was taking it into consideration around the time Katie Couric was hired as a global news anchor. I believe Katie has been replaced by Campbell Brown from CNN.

Ironically, that’s one good decision, in my opinion. Gwyneth’s Goop audience of $400 t-shirts isn’t Yahoo’s web audience. They’re more the sort of people get their news from Katie Couric because she’s nice.

This is exactly what I don’t understand from smartphone users. You have a smartphone with thousands of apps and consider yourself somewhat tech savy.

There’s nothing weird about a person you don’t understand, because you don’t want to understand and because they don’t fit into your cartoon caricature of what you think they should be like.

Yeah, but your dress works because the red embroidery breaks up the yellow, so you don’t look like a banana. Throw a cardigan on top of that, and you’re good because you don’t look like a banana.

Just did an image search of yellow dresses. I wanted to see if there was any person or skin tone that could make it work. Nope. Gold, sure. Amber or dark Tuscan yellow? Fine.

Kinda. If they looked like that, they would have been smart enough to just replace her jewels with fakes and have no one be the wiser. I doubt she’d be able to tell the difference.

Agreed. Natalie’s dress was awful because of the color, in my opinion. it if had been another color, it would have been fine. No one can pull off cartoon yellow. No one.

It’s not a charity.

Abacus lobby.

No, she wasn’t. People blame her because in every interview she has given, she talks about her decision-making process. She describes it as being very methodical, objective metrics, spreadsheet affair.

A non-compete just means that he’s not allowed to start a gossip website. If he wants to open up a cronut shop, or sell life insurance he can do that.

If the internet is your primary concern, a brand new laptop costs you $400, not $50 a month for the duration of your cell phone contract, which is typically 2 years. (50*24=1200, which is 3 times more expensive than a new $400 laptop). Internet is free at coffee shops, malls, libraries and any other location you can

Unless you took out the battery, I doubt it will last. Flip phones are cheap, especially if you get them before the Black Friday sales. The spare one I got for emergencies is a Samsung and cost me $40.

“Join modern technology”? WTF do you think a smartphone does differently than a flip phone? Apps are the only difference. If you’re interested in actually communicating directly with a person, it doesn’t matter what type of cell phone they have.

Actually, yeah you did. It’s not derogatory or ageist when you say that even your old mother has switched now to a smartphone she doesn’t know how to use fuly? Really?

Not really about research, man. It’s about your flippant disregard for people who make choices different from you, because they’re in a different financial situation than you.

I’m not saying she didn’t earn a break. I’m saying that what she chooses to do when she’s not campaigning speaks volumes about who she is as a person, and the sincerity of her concerns.

Not all Verizon stores are the same or carry the same phone lines. That doesn’t mean that you can’t get one by ordering it from their website directly, or through an authorized seller like Best Buy.

I call bullshit.  The major carriers did not stop selling flip phones. Best Buy has flip phones for practically every major provider, and unlocked ones too.
