There are a lot of people who owe them an apology for all the shit they were talking about that no vote. They were absolutely right. (And as much as I like them it didn’t take a genius to notice patterns and treat the past as prologue.)

And when we continue to vote for a party that literally gives us nothing we end  up in the same position, politically irrelevant and disregarded.

This is why people were saying NOT to separate the BBB from the infrastructure bill. They knew that someone was going to pull this shit. (People being anyone with damn eyes and some sense)

I don’t get why some people think we’re supposed to “prove” we can make fuckers irrelevant by voting for more milquetoast fucks who won’t do shit but betray us.

Democrats are just awful as a national organization when it comes to this shit. Conservatives have had a laser-like focus on the big picture for the last couple/few decades, and it has paid dividends. It doesn’t benefit me at all but looking like you’re cravenly making promises you have no intention of keeping isn’t going to get people to go out to vote for you in the midterms or for reelection.

That is true but it doesn’t help that we have Dems talking this idiocy about bipartisanship when we all know good and goddamn well that the Republicans aren’t interested in doing jack shit but make shit worse until they can take control (where they will continue to make shit worse.)

The only thing worse than New York Democratic Party Politics is Republican Party politics anywhere. Letitia and New York deserve better.

Absolutely. They are telling white people that should they act on the side of justice for Black people that they will basically blacken them up and declare open season on them.

It’s worse than that. They are basically saying that white men can holster up with visible weaponry and you’re not allowed to see them as a threat and treat them accordingly. YET, a Black man with no weapon is seen as a threat by merely existing in the same space.

Protests are going to be a bloodbath this summer. Armed vigilantes are going to swarm every protest they can find, begging people to make them feel threatened.

We knew the outcome before the case even started. The problem now is what comes next now that it’s official. They’ve basically said it’s okay to cross state lines with an illegally obtained weapon, look for a fight, and then claim “self defense” when one finds you. People are going to die because of this.
