Most of what I’m seeing is claiming that Biden’s wins don’t count because they’re in Republican states and so not representative of the Democratic population, even though I’m 70% sure the delegates are weighted for that.

From what I’ve seen (and I’m still looking into it), Bernie surrogates can blame anemic youth turnout for losing to Biden (in the states in which he did) on Super Tuesday.

There seems to be a cadre of folks who blame Hillary for losing to Trump because she was a horrible candidate but blame everyone else in the world when Bernie loses an election.

She’s not. The Bernie stans who are also unreasonable people* have a hate boner for her. She’s actually done something to reduce the negative impacts of our extreme capitalism on regular Americans (the CFPB), which Trump is currently destroying. But go off about how she’s some kind of capitalist robber baron.

Yup. I’m thinking the first female POTUS will get there via being a vice president first. This country cannot seem to handle a woman aiming for the presidency. Why, that’s just so....unlikable!

Absolutely breaks my heart. She’s been consistently on the right side of things in terms of criminal justice and other black interests, and the smartest in the field of candidates. Very sad.

Watching this from Canada, I remain mystified at how Warren isn’t winning this thing in a walk. She has so much in common with Sanders as far as policy goes, that I would think she and Sanders would be more or less equally popular among people who want to see substantial structural change in your country. I love Lizzy Warrren. She is smart, thoughtful, and passionate. The only reason she is not running away with this thing is that we —as a country— fucking suck at doing the right thing.

I think that sadly, the two main reasons for her doing so poorly (was has been a huge surprise for me!) are misogyny and fear of misogyny.
