I enjoyed the gradual build to his incredulity and irritation over Demons Fucking Five.

Joe Bob breaking down the Demons movie series was a piece of art.

Yes! The make up from Blood Feast was truly horrific. The blue hair had me thinking about the make up design from every crappy high school production I ever saw.

a AAA oscar contender

Remember when Black Panther was first announced and all those internet fuckboys were predicting it would flop because “yadda yadda no one wants to see a movie full of black people?”

nobody seemed to have a problem with Tambor, Leto, or Huffman portraying transgender individuals.

Fuck you and fuck the other transphobic assholes who upvoted your comment.

Shame she didn’t listen to the criticism of her ‘yellow-face’ casting in Ghost in the Shell.

I’m not impressed.

Except the reaction clearly worked.

That sounds... Ominous.

“If the Leader comments on being called a fascist and a supporter of ICE by a small handful of extremist protesters then I will let you know,”

How dare you call Lucy a “middling” film! It wasn’t middling by any reasonable definition of the word.

Scarlett Johansson’s big breaks were in indie film Manny & Lo and Robert Redford’s film adaptation of The Horse Whisperer. The latter was an emotionally-charged performance that set her apart from other teen actors at the time. Giving a great performance on screen with Robert Redford was, no doubt, an important

She should’ve kept her mouth shut for sure, but why no hate for the director? He proved with GiTs that he can’t handle a deep story or characterization and he had to generic up a movie about IDENTITY, ffs.

I didn't think the Ghost in the Shell casting was that bad, but this is pretty bad. They had a really good opportunity to cast a trans person in a lead role and then completely blew it. Ten years ago this would have been good Oscar bait and scarjo is very good at acting, but this just looks bad for everyone involved.

I hate to say this, but Scarlett Johansson too often seems to be a bit of an asshole.

Jesus, Johansson, you could at least acknowledge it’s a contentious issue that means a lot to people in the LGBTQIA community and you want to do it as sensitively as possible. But nah, “Everyone else is doing it so fuck you.”

So white people should be able to play black people because they’re actors. Blackface isn’t offensive, it’s acting.

Go fuck yourself.

That post-credits scene almost went the way I wanted it, although I had been hoping that Ed Harris’ MIB would have been a ‘real’ person but we’d get a Jimmi Simpson duplicate. Oh well, maybe next season!
