I both love and loathe this game. I've been stuck at level 24.66 for the last week and a half because I can't get better gear. I'm trying to get a full set of Dead Orbit gear but wait, there's a cap on Crucible marks. So I farm the Loot Cave, the Crucible itself, Strike mission after Strike mission. ABSOLUTELY

Basically, you're getting tickets, and the color shows the highest-possible quality of item you could receive. It is not promising purple, only saying that purple is a potential from the item.

haha i spent more time that i probably should've doing this over the weekend.

I refuse to get on this treadmill. The beta was downright depressing.

Holy crap. This is an amazingly in depth review of the game compared to some of the other reviews of destiny I have seen.

The big problem with Destiny's loot system right now is composed of several smaller problems

I was there last night with a friend and some other players and after around half an hour of camping that farming spot we recieved an in game message on the lower left corner of the screen which read "The enemy is amassing against you" or something along those lines.

In the next 30 or so minutes a huge amount of Hive

The Traveller

Yup! That's actually what they do. Bungie tries to add gravitas to things with "The Noun", and it kind of falls flat.

I thought the "Wild Theory about Destiny's Story" was there is one.

I think what it's missing is friendly NPCs. Seriously. I get the idea, that it should always be you and some real people vs. the computer. And I'd love it if it worked. But if you don't let us voice chat with people in the game, we aren't going to meet other people and get to play with them.

I honestly just ignored people hating on his performance prior to release but he is just awful. Worst of all, you can tell he considers the entire project a joke and it has been consistently hamstringing my ability to enjoy the plot.

Destiny's not great about explaining all of the nooks and crannies and ways of getting more exotic weapons, but that's ok because we have the Internet and the power of crowdsourcing. So here's your latest tip.

Insane amounts of hype and coverage leading up to release.

Nope! I'm making a "Peter Dinklage's acting in Destiny is terrible" joke.

no i played it. i played it to the level cap and then some, along with some of the competitive multiplayer (crucible right?) it seemed very generic. I'll admit the graphics are pretty, and the dancing is pretty hilarious especially in the right context. However, the main core game mechanics of shooting vs enemy AI

man, as much as i want something new to play, and as big a fan as i've always been of Halo and borderlands, i simply can not get over how boring and bland this game seems. :(

'The weirdness of the wii u'? What are you on about. Are you trying to sound console elitist? the main console is very small, hardly any draw on power, very quiet, and looks like a wii with curved edges. The gamepad has a screen in it. Its designed to work like a big ds when you factor in the large screen TV.

They knocked it out of the park with the PS4's design? What? It's rhombus that looks like a VCR.
